Walking Early With My Dog ... Fall Edition

We still go out early with a camera at hand but the weather has changed almost overnight; it's crisp and cool in the morning. Our walks give us beautiful skies, rich fall color, sometimes fog and, if we're lucky, the haunting call of the Sandhill Cranes passing overhead.

The northern part of the Door County peninsula is quieter than parts further south. But that doesn't mean there isn't anything to do. Of course we can drive south into the crowds but it is nice to enjoy the peace and quiet of northern Door County. Here are a few views located a few short miles from Cottage Glen.
